As members of the British Sandwich Association (BSA), ALS are pleased to be lending their support to 'British Sandwich Week' which starts today.
One of the key highlights of the week takes place tomorrow with an attempt to beat the World Record for the greatest number of people simultaneously making sandwiches. The event takes place at Media City, Salford Quays, Manchester and will involve hundreds of volunteers including ALS Sales and Marketing Director, Nigel Richards and Business Development Manager, Karen Crompton.
The world record attempt is part of a wider campaign, entitled 'Love Lunch', which runs throughout May and which is designed to showcase the sandwich industry and promote the benefits of taking a short lunch break.
