ALS is one of the UK’s leading providers of water testing services with facilities located across the UK offering a broad spectrum of accredited tests. As part of its on-going investment in this area, it is proud to announce the opening of a new purpose-built water testing laboratory in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

Our laboratory at Trowbridge is staffed by a highly qualified team of experts who have many years of experience working within the water testing industry and who are familiar with tests required for UK or EU regulatory compliance. The integrity of our operation is further reinforced by our links with the other ALS water testing sites at Sittingbourne in Kent, Coventry and Wakefield.
Excellent geographical coverage
At ALS we understand how important it is to get water samples tested as quickly as possible. With our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles based in Trowbridge, we have existing collection runs in place covering the south and south west of England and South Wales.
Tests can be carried out on the day of sample collection with results reported as soon as the analysis is complete.
All vans are fitted with an on-board tracking device and temperature data loggers to ensure that all samples arrive back at our laboratory in excellent condition.

With a comprehensive range of accredited tests, ALS can satisfy a wide variety of demands from organisations operating across different areas of the water industry. These include bottled water manufacturers, local authorities and water treatment / facilities management companies. The knowledge and information gained from working in these sectors further enhances our high levels of technical ability, ensuring that customers are kept up to date with the latest developments in the testing world.
