ALS is proud to be associated with the 2nd annual conference on “Food, water and pharma microbiology: - Rapid confirmation using MALDI-TOF” which will be held at the SCI in London on Tuesday 28th November.
The conference has been jointly organised by the SCI's Environment, Health & Safety Group, the SCI's Food Group and the RSC's Food Group. The key theme of this year's conference is further new developments in MALDI-TOF technology and the positive contribution it has made to microbiology and the analytical testing industry especially outside of clinical microbiology.
The welcome and introduction will be made by Professor Clive Thompson, ALS's Chief Scientist. ALS has also provided keynote speakers from both their Food & Pharmaceutical division (Clare Saxby) and their Environmental division (Pervinder Johal and Samuel Dearlove).
There will also be a contribution from Rosemary Cowin, Head of Quality at Probiotics International Ltd who will talk about the role of MALDI-TOF technology in the food supplement industry.
