The new BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 7 was released in January and is auditable from July 2015.
Many of the changes in the new standard are in direct response to the food safety issues which have affected the industry over the last few years such as labelling issues, product authenticity and traceability in the supply chain, or food fraud.
