ALS is pleased to confirm that it has completed the share purchase of Bactereco, a small microbiology laboratory in Barcelona, Spain.
The acquisition is an important step in the development of our spoke network in the key food market in Spain.
The laboratory holds ENAC accreditation and therefore offers ALS a great opportunity to expand its testing services in the Catalonia region of Spain.
The future plans for the business include securing additional space to expand the microbiology laboratory and then to begin offering Sensory and Consumer analysis from the location.
