ALS extends range of UKAS accredited allergen testing

ALS is pleased to announce that its allergen testing service for the quantitative determination of mustard protein in food and swab samples is now accredited by UKAS.

This confirmation means that we are now able to provide UKAS-accredited analysis of seven key allergens - Gluten (Gliadin), Casein / Caseinates, Peanut, Soya, Egg White Protein and Sulphites (residual SO2) being the others.

The method uses automated ELISA technology with all testing carried out in our purpose built allergen-testing laboratory at Chatteris in Cambridgeshire.
