We are delighted to report that the latest ALS Pesticide Testing Workshop held on 26th September was a great success.
Hosted by Laboratory Manager Mike Housden and Section Head Buddhi Dias at ALS' UK hub in Chatteris, the workshop was enjoyed by delegates from many of the UK's leading food manufacturers.
In addition to discussions about topical industry issues, the delegates also got an opportunity to look around ALS' industry-leading laboratory and meet many of the experienced staff within the ALS team.
For example, Lisa Jackson explained about sample preparation process, Gabriella Sturgeon explained about the LC-MS technology and Joanne Marsh explained about the GC-MS technology.
In view of the fact that spaces at the workshop sold out very quickly, we will be running another event in November to accommodate those clients that could not be included within last week's event.
