We are delighted to report that the £2.1m expansion of ALS's dedicated pharmaceutical-testing laboratory at Ely in Cambridgeshire is rapidly taking shape.
The project - due for completion in the Spring - involves the construction of a new two-storey extension to the existing site which is located on the Cambridgeshire Business Park in Ely.
As a result, 5,941 sq ft of additional floor space will be created, with a four-fold increase in the amount of space devoted to microbiological analysis and a doubling of space for chemical analysis.
The external construction is now complete and work has switched to kitting out the interior of the building with brand new benching and the latest equipment.
