We are pleased to announce that ALS has been shortlisted as a finalist in 2 categories - 'Medium sized Business' and 'Green Award' - at the forthcoming Fenland Enterprise Business Awards.
The annual awards are run in conjunction with the Fenland District Council whose geographical area includes Chatteris, the site of ALS's largest UK laboratory. The keenly contested competition is open to organisations from across a range of different industries with the awards presented at a Gala Event held at the Brazier Club in March on the 10th October.
At last year's awards, ALS was presented with the 'Special Judges Award'. Since then, ALS has continued to increase the size and scope of its business, opening a major new laboratory extension in April.
Commenting on the announcement, Sales & Marketing Director Nigel Richards said that he was "...delighted that the hard work from all staff at Chatteris has once again been recognised in this way. We have invested significantly in the site and in turn in the local economy so that Chatteris is now both a UK and European hub for a wide range of testing services".
