We are delighted to announce that ALS was crowned 'Company of the Year' (*more than 100 employees) for the 3rd consecutive year at the Society of Food Hygiene and Technology awards last Thursday.
The prestigious awards, which are presented as part of SOFHT's annual lecture and luncheon, took place at the Savoy Hotel in London in front of many of the UK's major supermarket groups, food manufacturers and suppliers.
Picking up the award was Nigel Richards, the company's Sales and Marketing Director. "To win the award once was a great achievement; to win it twice was outstanding. However, to have been recognised in this way for the third consecutive year is simply phenomenal and an extremely humbling experience."
Once again, the ALS bid was focussed heavily on the quality of its customer service and on a concerted effort to consistently exceed client expectations.
Commenting on this, Richards states, "We have seen continued sales growth over the past year and have invested significantly in further improvements across the business such as the introduction of MALDI-TOF technology and the expansion of our pesticide screen. We work closely with our clients to provide them with tailored solutions that meet their changing needs. It is therefore particularly rewarding to receive this award since a large part of the judging criteria is based around supportive customer testimonials."
