REMINDER: Food and Water microbiology conference, Wednesday 14th December, SCI, London

ALS is pleased to confirm that it will be playing an integral role in this Wednesday's Food and Water Microbiology conference with contributions from several senior members of its technical team.

Opening the conference will be Professor Clive Thompson, Chief Scientist at ALS.

Clive will then be followed later in the morning by Matteo Capocefalo and Maria Gemenetzi, also based at ALS's Rotherham site, who will present "A time and a place; current and future applications of MALDI-TOF in a busy food micro lab".

The afternoon session will then include a contribution from Pervinder Johal from ALS Environmental in Coventry who will talk about "Rapid confirmation using the MALDI-TOF in legionella and drinking water microbiology".

The conference, which is being organised by SCI's Environment, Health and Safety Group, takes place on Wednesday 14th December at the SCI in London.
