We are delighted to announce that ALS has been crowned ‘Company of the Year’ at the prestigious Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT) awards.
The essence of the ALS bid was the resilience shown by every member of staff in overcoming two major challenges this year: firstly, the major fire at Rotherham in January which put the site out of action for 3 months and secondly, working through the Coronavirus pandemic to maintain service excellence.
It also recognised the fantastic efforts of the ALS Systems Development Teams in the UK and Portugal in bringing ‘ALSolutions’ to the market in the summer – something was resulted in us being shortlisted within the ‘Best New Product or Service’ category at this year’s awards.
Accepting the award on behalf of ALS was Sales and Marketing Director, Nigel Richards. “We last won the ‘Company of the Year’ award in 2015 so to win it again in this year of all year’s - feels particularly special, especially as the level of competition was so high. We are not alone in having faced significant challenges in 2020 - as many of our clients can testify – but the scale of change within our business and the level of continued investment is a reflection of our confidence in the future.”
